Forum 2012 – Your Twitter Classroom

Win a Free Forum Registration

Workforce professionals are making some headway into tapping into social media and using it to promote their important workforce initiatives and programs— it needs to be part of your workforce communications toolkit.  We’re making it easy and fun for you to get connected into Twitter, practice your skills, tap into special events at the Forum, and even win a free registration and other prizes at the Forum.

Why Twitter?

Twitter is becoming the fastest growing social network., and it’s easier than you think to join the 400,000+ people who create new accounts daily.  At 1 billion tweets a week, it’s hard to know where to start, but there is no question that with 86% of Americans aged 18 to 34, and 62% of those aged 35 to 54 using social networking, an understanding of how to use Twitter needs to be in your workforce communications toolkit. Twitter and other social media strategies help you increase your outreach to stakeholders, promote local events to customers, and gain visibility in your community.  You may feel like there’s limited time to learn new social media skills.  That’s why we’re making it easy to engage with NAWB Forum 2012 using Twitter.
