Two-Generation Workforce Development and Early Care and Education (WD/ECE) Project
NAWB and Innovate+Educate have joined forces to advance two-generation approaches to workforce development with the support of the W. K. Kellogg Foundation. The $1,500,000 grant will advance new pathways to employment for parents and families with young children (0-8 years) while providing linkages between early childhood development and employment that will lead to economic advancement.
The project will support a pilot with three nationally recognized workforce boards that will be funded to develop strategies and provide implementation support focused on high-quality, adult focused services combined with intensive, high-quality early childhood education programs.
In addition, this program will support the development of technology tools to connect these families to resources that will elevate the services, resources and educational opportunities available to them through the combined strategy of workforce development/childhood education.
Please note: An active NAWB membership is required to access and submit a response to the RFP.
